SAUDI ARABIA-SHAH-SHAH GAS DEVELOP. PROGRAM

The project provided for integrated design of new buildings and steel structure in the plant Units 731-732-733-734.
Specifically, structural and technical system were designed for the following buildings (total surface about 20.000 m2):

- SUBSTATION 740-SS-01
- SUBSTATION 741-SS-01
- SUBSTATION 742-SS-01
- SUBSTATION 751-SS-01
- SUBSTATION 752-SS-01
- SUBSTATION 753-SS-01
- SUBSTATION 754-SS-01
- SUBSTATION 780-SS-01
To speed up the building construction, both precast and cast in-situ reinforced concrete structural elements were used.
The project provided also the design of about 14'000 tons of steel structures. The design was carried out in accordance with technical American codes (ACI, ASCE, AISC), international architectural codes (INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE AND UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE) and customer specifications.
