SANNAZZARO – EST PLANT
CLIENT: SAIPEM-ENI R&M
In 2008, ENI Refining & Marketing SpA started the design of a new plant in Sannazzaro De 'Burgondi (PV) refinery which will allow the first industrial-scale application of the technology EST (Eni Slurry Technology), created by Eni for the conversion of heavy oil residues into valuable products, gasoline and diesel. Esseti provided the detailed design for:
- UNIT 40 - Steel structure and equipment foundation
- UNIT 45 - Steel structure and equipment foundation
- UNIT 72 - Steel structure and equipment foundation
- UNIT 90 - Steel structure and equipment foundation
- UNIT 95 - Steel structure and equipment foundation
- Pipe Rack Unit Interconnecting
The whole design has been developed with the use of the software TEKLA. All steel structures, their foundations as well as the foundations of the equipment have been modeled three dimensionally and then were extracted two-dimensional drawings for construction. From the same model were extracted the bill of quantities and was finally used for the input in the three-dimensional model of the plant to verify the interference.
16.000 hh is the whole amount of man hours to carry out the project.
10.000 t are the steel structures weight designed .
The whole project has been designed in accordance with EUROCODE CODES AND STANDARDS and Client specifications.
