NAPLES - “DE GASPERI” QUARTER
CLIENT: NAPLES MUNICIPALITY
The project concerned the improvement of the “De Gasperi” quarter, on the edge of Naples. It was developed following the principles of ecological sustainability, and by providing activities that recover techniques and traditions of historical housing. In fact, the buildings, were designed with bearing masonry and wooden floors. This choice was complemented by all the proposed technical and technological solutions (district heating, photovoltaic systems, artefact insulation, etc.).
The project follows the contemporary tendencies of sustainable architecture, and could allow the “De Gasperi” quarter to become a model for the development of sustainable architecture in Campania.
