CASERTA - AIR FORCE ACADEMY RELOCATION
CLIENT: C.G.T. SpA
The project consists of the relocation of buildings hosting the offices and school of the Air Force Academy of Caserta, currently situated in the vicinity of the historic Royal Palace. The intervention includes a new complex surrounded by a green park with sporting facilities, partially usable by the citizens.
The four main buildings contain the quarters, laboratories and classrooms, mess hall and a big auditorium with subterranean parking lots.
The design of the technical system has provided a:
- HVAC with energy saving criteria, using a condensing boiler, solar energy panel, and hot water ring distribution;
- photovoltaic solar panel for 50% of energy consumption;
- solar energy panel for hot water (public health service);
- rain water recovery system.
