ACERRA 2000 – POLYMERIZATION PLANT
CLIENT: SNAMPROGETTI SUD-MONTEFIBRE
In 1995 Esseti signed an agreement with the Montefibre SpA of Milan about the general technical services for the plant of Acerra (Na).
During the years of collaboration Esseti developed civil and piping design needed for the ordinary maintenance of the whole plant.
In 2000, Montefibre SpA realized a considerable revamping called “ACERRA 2000 “ which, besides the implementation of new production facilities, provided some radical adjustment of existing ones.
The Esseti gave a key contribution to this investment providing the detailed design of the whole civil works. In particular:
- Basic design and preliminary economic study for the identification of the possible structural types for the construction of the building "New Continuous Polymerization”
- Detailed design of EARLY ACTIVITIES (tanks relocation, culverts, new substations, new pipe rack, pipe-line, tie-ins, etc.)
- Seismic revamping detailed design of the steel building “Polyester Production"
- Architectural structural detailed design of the expansion of Shelters connected with the building “Polyester Production“
- Detailed design of the new building "New Continuous Polymerization" (in composite structures: Made of ordinary reinforced concrete e precast concrete).
